These medical stockings are used; left over from when I fractured my pelvis in 1994. I subsequently was on bedrest for a while and had to wear these. I still shudder when I recall the price of these stockings new.
The maker is Sigvaris. Apparently they are made in Switzerland. These are the calf length or knee-high stockings. They are brown (like dark tan nylon stockings) with holes for your toes. They come with a foot slip to help you get them on.- these are basically slippery little peds that you put over your lower foot to get the stockings to go on. As I recall, they definitely do the job of compressing!
I ve got all the original instructions, box, etc. Also included in the box are two white pairs of compression-like stockings. I think I got these from the hospital, but I can t remember. They are not as tight as the Sigvaris. They are also knee-highs, size Medium.
