Tired of those hard armrests and footrests on your wheelchair? How about those hard plastic armrests on your bedroom or bathroom commode? These can help! I developed these cushions thru necessity for my 84 yr. old Mom, who spends time in a wheelchair. She has had some foot ulcers, and these little ditties have done the trick to help with her pain. They provide a handy way to alleviate pressure on those sore spots. My husband is also diabetic, and with 2 in the household, you learn very quickly that there are tons of diabetic medically related items out there - but little or none that offer comfort or convenience. I aim to change that - I m going to share the little ditties that I ve come up with to provide just that! Unfortunately, Mom has been to the hospital, and doctors pretty frequently. The health care professionals all seem to agree that these are a great idea and very much needed, and not just for diabetics! Took Mom to her foot doctor, and he raved about the footrest cushions when he saw them. He said, Those are nice looking and are so needed! He agreed with my idea that they are a great way to help relieve pressure points. I asked if I could quote him and I got a resounding YES...so these are actually doctor recommended!
